So there's a nasty NM in Alzadaal Undersea Ruins that drops this:

And my DNC wanted it badly for DE/Evis.

This is the big bad NM:

He's ~LV82, huge and moves really slow compared to player speed.

Yesterday (7/19) evening, Fydara (RDM/NIN) and I (BLU/NIN) took a stab at it, and while it ALMOST killed us, we managed to kill it. It took us around 40 minutes of running around in circles while Fydara cast Bio III, Poison II, and nuked with Water III and I spammed Regurgitation. Yeah what, a Blue Mage actually nuking! It dropped a single light crystal lol.

After WM9-2 for Ging/Khamii, the three of us went to the undersea ruins to take shot at this NM. I was on BLU/NIN again and Ging and Kham were on RDM/DRK and WHM/BLM respectively. It was a little more complicated this time because they didn't have utsusemi, but the fight was faster because Ging's stun let me spam regurgitation a lot more (I also remembered to set auto-refresh...oops). I was also wearing more INT/MND gear (since i got a perle chapeau) so regurgitation was hitting harder. And this time he dropped the subligar (which as a side note, have got to be the ugliest looking piece of equipment in this game. But the stats are great so w/e Very Happy

I couldn't find the no option so I didn't vote.

j/k Ging is great and Fyd and Kham would be too if they weren't a taru and a taru abductor.
