Hey dudes and duderinas! No, no, don't get too excitified... I'm not coming back to FFXI anytime soon, or probably ever. That doesn't mean I don't still love you guys and think of you often. That's why I'm here! I happened to remember that some of my favorite WPers live in the Seattle area. I'm not coming to Seattle, but I am finally coming to Portland for a visit. If I've been told correctly, Portland and Seattle are kind of close. I want to drink a beer with you! This isn't happening until September, so you guys have ample time to move away from the Northwest part of the country if you feel the need. Ooooor... you can say you want to drink a beer with me too, and mayhap we will! Tell me what I wanna hear, people! Also facebook me up = Elizabeth Officer

The dates aren't set quite yet. I should know for sure in about a week or so. As of right now, I'm shooting to be in Portland from around September 8~22. My old buddy, Marty, is gonna be putting me up while I'm out there. He does not drive. So, more than likely, my only shot of getting myself to Seattle is if one of my Portland pals or someone's band is headed that way and I get to tag along. It's also likely that I won't know if that's an option until I'm already out there.

I'd love to see Seattle while I'm out there, but I won't have too long and I'm going to be flying by the seat of my pants. My main objectives are to drink beers/ stir up trouble with as many old friends as I can and see lots of good bands. I would feel pretty lame being like "Hey, I wanna hang out, so I'm asking you to take this long- ass drive to have a beer with me.". I don't even know if that's really practical at all. If there's some good punk rock or metal shows going on, maybe that'll entice some folks to make the trip Smile

. I'm especially hoping Burning Leather and Nux Vomica are playing while I'm out there, since they are bands containing buddies, and also happen to rock to your socks.

Oh Oh also, I got so hung up on Portland, I almost forgot that the other part of my West Coast invasion will be a stay with my brother in San Diego, after Portland. I may end up there, helping out my sister-in-law anywhere from 3 weeks to 3 months. If I don't manage to make some friends out there, I will lose my mind.
